Lt Col Buzz Patterson on Hardball

On Friday 28 September, Lt Colonel Buzz Patterson will appear on Hardball with Chris Matthews at 1700 hours Eastern 1400 hours Pacific time.

You may remember him as the man who carried the “nuclear football” for President Clinton. He is also the author of several books, including Dereliction of Duty and his latest book entitled War Crimes: The Left’s Campaign to Destroy Our Military and Lose the War on Terror.

The topic will be the damage that anti-war soldiers are doing to the war effort.

If we just ignore the "useful idiots', they will be as irrelevant as Rosie O'Donnell. They are tools of the extreme anti-American, pro-terrorist, pro-war leftwing moonbats. Half of them probably didn't even make it to the sandbox.

Iraq Veterans Against the War (IVAW), is another creation of the people who brought you the SDS, Weather Underground, International ANSWER, Code Pink, United for Peace and Justice and World Can't Wait.

They are all part of the American Communist Party, the Revolutionary Communist Party, and Workers World Party.

They are socialists and Marxists. They are deranged. They are dedicated. They are dangerous.

There is a saying, whose attribution I do not know that says:

" A veteran is someone who, in his or her past, wrote a blank check made payable to The United States, in an amount up to and including their life".

Sad to say, it seems that these anti-war veterans wrote theirs against insufficient funds, or on closed accounts.

I would only add that there may well come a time, and that not too distant, where those of us who value our Constitution and Nation will take it upon our own selves to solve this problem.

If the government cannot or will not deal with this cancer on the body politic, then it must needs fall upon the people themselves to self-medicate againt the disease of treason and sedition.

If you were at any of the Move America Forward rallies or at GOE III, I shared the analogy of the blank check in my speeches. I am Debbie Lee the proud Mother of Marc Alan Lee the first Navy Seal killed in Iraq 8-2-06. I also had the blessing of getting to know Buzz Patterson very well as we traveled on the "Fight for Victory Tour" together. Another American hero filled with great values and noble character! No wonder America is so great with Men like that!

Ms. Lee,

My condolences to you on your loss, and to the Nation for the loss of such a good man. I am also a Navy veteran, and attended the GOE-I. I had hoped to attend GOE III but my health wouldn't allow for it.

I first read the "blank check" analogy as an anonymous quote, and so listed it here.

Please know that if there is ever anything I can do to assist you, and I am able to do so, that it would be a priviledge to have you call upon me.

Respects,

AW1 Tim

Thank You both, not only for your service and sacrifices, but also for taking the time to visit my humble site.
Kudos to you, Ms. Lee, for your victory over Reid and Pelosi.
I met Donald May's mother at Walter Reed on the Friday night before the Rally. Amazing Lady.
I was in attendance at both the 17 March and the 15 September Rallies.
I actually was part of the team which put the 15 September Rally together. I now am offically a member of Gathering of Eagles, thanks to my good friend Capt Larry Bailey (USN) Ret.
He has designated me Special Events Coordinator..a fancy title which means I obtain the permits. Something I have been doing for a few years now as leader of DCProtestWarrior.
My group, DCProtestWarrior, with assistance from GoE, protected the Navy Memorial before, during and after the marchers.
Tim, you are correct Sir. I have witnessed a steadily increasing level of hatred in this country for all things we hold dear. It was brought home on Saturday, when my friend at Age of Hooper, (also a DCPW Chapter member0, filmed children playing with lighters and burning an American flag on the streets of the Nation's Capitol, and cheering as it burned.
His restraint as an American and objectivity as a reporter is to be commended.
