Rush In A Hurry

On Today's Show:
Rush appeared on MSNBC's "Morning Joe." The free transcript and audio and video are posted.
Rush raised $4.2 million for the Marine Corps-Law Enforcement Foundation, and shoved the Harry Reid smear letter down the Democrat Party's throat. In thanks, MC-LEF presented Rush with a very special award. Unfortunately, due to the graphic nature of the plaque, we can only show you a censored version.

Congressman Joe Wilson (R-SC) took to the floor to praise Rush for beating back the "phony soldiers" smear. The legacy of Harry Reid's attempt to turn the U.S. Senate into the Speech Police is not pretty.

Congressman Fortney "Pete" Stark (D-CA) apologized, finally, for his disgusting comments about our troops in Iraq and President Bush.

Reuters reports success in Iraq, and a massive drop in attacks thanks to the troop surge, dismaying Democrats and Al-Qaeda. (Rush 24/7 Members: Listen Here).

The "phony soldiers" smear fizzled, so the Democrats have moved on to a new one, falsely claiming that Rush made fun of Graeme Frost's voice when Rush has never even heard it. Anyone who listens to this program, knows Rush has been using that same Little Kid Voice for over 18 years. Anyone who gets their information about what Rush says from left-wing smear merchants like Media Matters, doesn't. Meanwhile, Graeme's mother proves Rush right by joining the fight to impose socialized medicine on everyone. (Rush 24/7 Members: Listen Here).

Callers complain that the Drive-By Media is hyping the California wildfires all out of proportion. Rush asks why they're not focusing on the environmental extremists who sue to keep people from cleaning out the underbrush that acts as kindling for these disasters. (Rush 24/7 Members: Listen Here).

They say Mrs. Clinton's running a "flawless campaign." Will somebody explain to me how a candidate with 46 to 49% negatives and disapproval ratings -- and in a Zogby poll showing 50% of voters will never, ever vote for her -- is running a flawless campaign?
The "flawless" campaign makes an issue of Rudy's personal life in the person of Mormon-bashing Congressman Charlie Rangel (D-NY).

A Rush prediction you can make book on: the subject and focus of the election is going to be the future of the country. Are we going to go toward a socialist future, or are we going to remain the engine of capitalism that keeps us (and the rest of the world) prosperous and free?
From Rush's Stack of Stuff Quick Hits Page: Bush approval 13 points over Congress; Qualcomm Stadium vs. Superdome; unity parade as Sunni's and Shi'a mock Osama tape; investigating illegal Hillary donors called racist; snap judgments pick right candidates; Widow Tsongas unnerves Drive-Bys; Beltway Crowd discovers illegal immigration -- and a laugher headline: "Democrats to Circumvent Mainstream Media"!

All this and more when we update RushLimbaugh.com.
