Warrior Legacy Foundation at Liberty 101

I have it on good authority that Warrior Legacy Foundation will have a spot at the Liberty 101 event at Chesterfield Fairgrounds in Chesterfield VA on 25 July.

Stop by and see what WLF is all about.

For a modest donation of $25 to this great organization, you can leave with a good looking cover, (thats a hat for all you non-Marines) and a bumpersticker.

Doc Thompson from WRVA will be there and there are great opportunities to learn how to get involved in the fight to stop the downward spiral into Marxism.

9-12 and Tea Parties

On 13 March 2009 Glenn Beck introduced us to the 9-12 Project. He prefaced this introduction with a history lesson. He reminded us of the greatness that is America and her citizens.

He then introduced a lot of Americans to the one person who, in my mind anyway, personifies the American spirit, American courage, and the way we should all strive to be.

That person was Marcus Luttrell, former Navy SEAL, member of SEAL Team 10, and part of Operation Redwing, the deadliest mission a SEAL Team has ever undertaken. The book "Lone Survivor" is the story of that operation. I urge everyone to get a copy and read it.

Glenn established the first rule of the 9-12 Project:

We Honor Our Military. We acknowledge the sacrifices made and we thank those who chose to defend us. We do so willingly, without reservation. We do it because it's the right thing to do.
We do it because the men and women who make up our Warrior class are worthy of the effort. They have earned it.

The Tea Parties were started by a reporter from the floor of the Chicago Board of Exchange. It was picked up and the tipping point was reached around the time of CPAC 2009. The Tea Party movement is about taxes and excessive government waste.

The 9-12 Project is about America's soul.

Hey Hey Ho Ho Napolitano Has To Go

This woman has no business running the Sanitation Department, much less the department tasked with keeping America safe.

I have some advice for the Secratary: stop worrying about veterans and real Americans being terrorists and worry about the real terrorists. The ones who actually SAY they want to destroy America and are right now plotting ways to carry that out.

Start acknowledging they actually exist and call them what they are: TERRORISTS!!!!
Call what they do TERRORISM, not man made disasters.

From the WST Richmond Team
and I'm going to shamelessly purloin this missive and post it as a question to all elected officials.
Will you publicly CONDEMN the recently-released "assessment" from the Department of Homeland Security warning law enforcement officials about a rise in "rightwing extremist activity," labeling citizens opposed to new firearms restrictions, returning veterans and conservatives as "rightwing extremists" and associating them with white supremacists and violent antigovernment groups.

We have some questions and we are entitled to answers:
1. Who is funding this kind of nonsense?
2. Did YOU vote for this?
3. Why would my government spend my money attacking ME, instead of spending my money PROTECTING me?

This report is an insult to military veterans and American gun owners, and as a Member of the U.S. Congress, I would like to see you and your colleagues TAKE ACTION IMMEDIATELY to condemn this report, and to demand its retraction by DHS.Specifically, the following questions should be addressed:
1- Who asked for the production of this document?
2- What was the product description?
3- What were the sources used to prepare this document?
4- What were the competing hypothesis in doing the analysis?

Words and actions have consequences, and irresponsible statements, reports and actions fuel fires that are counterproductive to democracy in America.Do the RIGHT thing -- publicly CONDEMN the DHS document, "Rightwing Extremism: Current Economic and Political Climate Fueling Resurgence in Radicalization and Recruitment"
